Well it finally looks like our Obama has seen off the challenge from old Bill’s missus. He’s (almost) been declared as the official presidential candidate for the Democrats.

That also makes him favourite to be the next President of the United States of America - who’d have thought it eh?

Not one to let a good money-making opportunity to pass me by, I’ve had a flutter on Barack to take the keys of the White House from George Dubya in November. Obama is 4/7 at Ladbrokes to win the election.

I’d get on to Ladbrokes right away and get that bet on as those odds are only going to get smaller as the Obama bandwagon continues to gather pace into Washington. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
